Sun Communities contracted ESCO to complete the Augmentation Reservoir at River Run Ranch in Granby, Colorado. ESCO constructed a 30 Million-Gallon Impervious Reservoir to meet the stringent water requirements of the 460-acre development. This project included over 50,000 CY of mass excavation, installing 16-acres of impervious PVC Liner, and placement of 6,000 tons of rip-rap. In addition to the reservoir construction, ESCO also completed a new raw water treatment plant, two new well sites, pump station filling the augmentation reservoir, a 900,000 GAL water tank, intricate concrete spillways and weirs, as well as gravity augmentation piping. ESCO completed this project in sufficient time for the necessary augmentation needs required for Colorado’s strict water rights for the high-profile resort.
