Reunion Metropolitan District contracted with ESCO Construction in 2020 to build the backbone infrastructure for future home development at Reunion in Commerce City.

ESCO acted as the general contractor for the project, self-performing all earthwork, utilities, and concrete structures & flatwork. Portions of the project included work within the ROW on existing 104th Ave with detailed coordination between Commerce City, ESCO crews, and subcontractors. Several design changes during construction were managed efficiently throughout the project.
Major quantities included: 22,000 CY of earthmoving, 11,600 LF of 4”-30” Watermain and Irrigation piping, 7,000 LF of 8”-18” Sanitary Sewer, 8,300 LF of 18”-54” Storm Sewer, 1,100 LF of Box Culvert (precast & CIP), 4 new detention ponds with forebays/outlet structures/trickle channels, 2,800 CY of soil/void filled riprap, approximately 2,700 LF of Ragweed Draw channel grading and soil lifts, over 13,000 LF of C&G, and over 55,000 SF of sidewalk.
